We sort out your Russian visa for you as it can be a daunting prospect.. As soon as you make your Romantic Tour deposit, we'll arrange to send you a standard Russian tourist visa application form which we complete together over the phone. After the form is completed, you sign it and send it back to us together with your passport. We then arrange your visa directly with the Consulate which can normally take between 7 and 10 days. Your passport is then returned to your home address.
► How long should my trip last?
We recommend that you plan for a trip lasting between 5 and 7 days. But even if you feel that you don't have the time, and that this is too long, then you could travel for a few days. Summer - is probably the most romantic time of the year in St. Petersburg. The days are as warm as they are in the UK and sometimes even warmer! The sun literally never sets and is famously known as "White Nights".
Autumn - is a soft and very picturesque time displaying warm and yellow colours. A little sad but touching and romantic nonetheless. The temperature starts to drop toward the end of autumn.
Winter - it is an unforgettable experience to see St. Petersburg in the snow and to participate in the New Year (1st Jan) and Christmas (7th Jan) preparations and non-stop night time celebrations. It can be cold this time of year and sensible clothing is recommended.
